Hp Pavilion DV6 Installing graphics card driver for windows 8.1
Drivers available only for vista… compatibility not supported!!! you will need to install video driver manually..
The first time video driver failed to install because this laptop is actually hp dv6-6809vm… In first attempt i used other driver from different dv6 series… you can find your series by looking on the service sticker under laptop…
Then you have to go to HP website go to drivers and download if you have dv6-6163cl laptop driver for windows vista and install him manual like i did in this tutorial and he will work under windows 7, windows 8 or windows 8.1..
The most important before you will download to look at service sticker to specify correct laptop on hp website..
