In this video, Pete will walk you through a simple maintenance box replacement on the Epson C3500 inkjet label printer.
[Transcript] What’s up guys, it’s Pete.As I’ve mentioned before, the C3500 is a very low-maintenance printer.
One of the few things you need to replace, other than ink (video reference) is the maintenance box.
This process is pretty quick, so let’s get to it.
The maintenance box is accessed by pulling down on this plastic tab to the right of the printer door.
Simply pull the tab of the old box to slide it out, and set it aside.
Do not remove the foil on the box, hold the cartridge forward and upright and firmly push it into place.
Close your plastic door and let the printer perform maintenance, and you’re all set.
Epson recommends some routine cleaning of the platen and auto cutter every time you replace the maintenance box, for instructions on this, please click this link to our video on cleaning the Epson C3500.
