The Canon Pixma printer line of all in one printers is a great value for the money with many models to choose from to meet your budget and needs. Like other printers, this Canon inkjet printer comes with the necessary drivers, software and even printer ink to get you started. They include some sample photo paper as well. The multifunction printer featured in the video is the Canon MX512 model which is in the center of the new model series in terms of price and specifications. This is the lowest model that doesn’t require the 5 or so different colored ink cartridges and the lowest one with the SD and memory card slots for printing pictures. It features the convenient Canon wireless printer protocol as well as the Airprint technology for printing from iOS devices like the iPad, iPhone and iPad Mini devices. Without having to buy an app like Airprint Activator for Windows or Mac, finding AirPrint compatible printers when you upgrade to a new printer is the way to go. It’s easy, simple and quick. The prints work without having to install anything on your iDevice. The best Airprint printer will depend on your brand preference, but the Canon Pixma printer in this video for less than $100 was the best one in that price range.
