AMD Drunk Drivers
Just threw something together really quick to showcase the poor quality of AMD’s Properitary GPU Drivers. We need to put more pressure on them to either improve the quality of their drivers, or Open Source them so the community can handle it.
The Distribution is Debian 6 “Squeeze”
The GPU is an AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4850
The camera is my HTC Desire HD
The drivers have actually gone WORSE with time, now that’s just amazing, right?
To use linux-firmware-nonfree you’ll need to edit your etc/apt/sources.list sources.
Change the first two to main contrib non-free
