For notebooks that bundled with a traditional Synaptics touchpad, once updated to the latest DCH driver, the advanced settings might be missing from the notification area.
Follow the steps in this video to properly install the latest driver and find the advanced settings.

For notebooks which bundled with the Precision touchpad, find the advanced settings option in Windows, Settings, Devices, Touchpad.
