Nvidia Catches Up To Intel and AMD in New Drivers! Intel Thinks It’s Still The Best.

Let’s get started with some Nvidia news. They just released their special Gamescom drivers and I gotta say, it’s a good one. I usually dont talk about Driver releases here since most of the time, it’s kind of pointless but on this one, Nvidia goes straight after both AMD and Intel.

AMD revealed their Anti-Lag feature at E3 for their Navi gpu’s and when Nvidia heard about it , they said they’ve been doing the same thing for the last decade. Well, it looks like it wasn’t quite the same thing because their gamescom drivers now come with a Ultra Low latency mode which does essentially the same thing as Radeon Anti lag. That ultra low latency mode will be available to all geforce GPUs.They really have to stop contradicting themselves like that. Don’t say you’ve been doing the same thing for a decade and then work to make your own version. Just appreciate what the competition does and implement your own version.

For intel, The company announced Integer scaling to their Gen11 graphics a few weeks ago. In case you didn’t know Integer scaling is a way to upscale an image in a pixel perfect way. It prevents the blurriness seen in most Linear upscalers like on this image right here. The right one is integer scaling. Well Now, Nvidia introduced Turing integer scaling into their drivers. Its enabled directly from the Nvidia control panel and is the perfect tool to make your classic games look great again. I guess all that is left Is for AMD to introduce Integer scaling so we can all play our retro games the way they were intended. I wonder how many of you guys are playing retro games on your PC. Let me know down below.
