AMD Navi “Super Secret” GPU Listed In New Drivers | SeaGate Double HDD Speeds

AMD’s Navi gpu has appeared listed in Linux Drivers, with the name of new_chip.gfx10.mmSUPER_SECRET.enable [0: 0]. GFX10 is naturally the codename of Navi, with GFX9 established to be AMD’s current graphics architecture, Vega. Navi is known to be released in 2024, but details of the specs are a little underdeveloped – other than it will be scalable and built on next generation memory technology (likely GDDR6 / HBM3).

Meanwhile, Seagate have developed a new hard drive technology incorporating dual actuators on the drive heads, allowing the doubling of IOPS on the same hard drive compared to traditional hard drive technology.
